New Beginnings
Default Brower

I am looking for information on those who use FF3 as there main browser.  I use FF3 almost exclusively except for the sites that do not render in FF3 correctly.  I need help in deciding which browser to use as my default browser.  Especially since some sites need to use IE7 but load in FF3 as default.

Hey Kenwas,

Thanks for the link. I checked it out and while I had many of those add-ons there were a few I didn't that were worthy of installing. I do have a few I don't see on your list I thought you might find interesting

Split Browser - pretty interesting when wanting to compare 2 sites side by side.

Cooliris Preview - I like not having to click on links to go into sites only to find it's not what I wanted, this program lets me open a window without losing the page I was on before.

Fission - makes the address bar into a statue bar as well. I like visuals

Flashgot - Download multiple things at one time from a site.

Forcastfox - Good weather program for FF

ScreenGrab - Never know when you need to grab the screen you looking at

Scribefire - If you blog, this program is great for writing articles while browsing a site you think has something worth blogging about. It's a great replacement for Livewriter or Microsoft Word 2007 and if you use the portable version of FF, then it's even better to blog while away from your PC.

Thanks for the tips. Some look great. The link however was not about add ons but about the things expected in the new 3.1 version when released as far as speed improvements are concerned. Thanks again for the add-ons!

Just wanted to follow-up on my comment about FF3 & Hotmail.  It seems that they have resolved each other's differences and now the full version of live.hotmail is working under FF3 (I'm running 3.0.3 right now).  I can now finally install FF3 on my wife's laptop.  I didn't want to hear her complain on how it wasn't working with her email and why did I install this POS on her computer...lol.
